KITAP CARES: Advocacy in Bikol

Through KITAP CARES, KITAP brings 40 years of compassionate service to the Bikol region, supporting families, children, and vulnerable communities in building resilience, dignity, and sustainable growth. The advocacy campaign in Bikol is rooted in care, empowerment, and community partnership, ensuring that every initiative reaches those who need it most while fostering meaningful, long-term impact.

As part of the campaign, KITAP CARES partnered with the Philippine National Transplant Games to engage the community in a fun and educational kidney transplant awareness game, helping participants learn about organ donation, healthy living, and community care. This unique activity not only raised awareness but also strengthened local engagement and advocacy in health education.

The Bikol advocacy program also focuses on education support, livelihood development, and social care initiatives, equipping individuals and families with the skills, resources, and confidence to thrive. By collaborating closely with local leaders, volunteers, and community members, KITAP CARES strengthens community participation, trust, and sustainability, making every program inclusive, effective, and empowering.

As part of KITAP’s 40th Anniversary celebration, the advocacy in Bikol highlights the organization’s enduring mission: to serve with compassion, empower with purpose, and nurture communities with care. Through KITAP CARES, Bikol communities are supported in building a hopeful, resilient, and empowered future.
