DEFINITION

  • A voluntary membership organization, primarily patients at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI), growing with members from major hospitals in the Philippines
    • It is not just a membership roster,
      it is a member’s commitment.
      • Activities and programs of KITAP signify a commitment to patients awaiting lifesaving transplant, who have received organ transplants, and who have donated organs and tissues for loved ones.

PREAMBLE

We, the Kidney recipients, donors and members of the Kidney Transplant Association of the Philippines Inc.(KITAP), imploring the blessing and aid of the Almighty God, in order to:

  1. Promote our moral, social and spiritual worthiness; protect and uphold our individual and collective rights; raise our awareness and responsibilities to the Association.
  2. Foster solidarity and harmonious and progressive relations among us.
  3. Serve the Association truthfully and meaningfully.
